BassBaby

Me and my girlfriend decided to take a long road trip to Cabella's and Bass Pro Shops yesterday which included 5 hours of driving around 500+ miles, alot of laughs, from us and the Dane Cook stand up we were listening to, and a whole lot of tolls and gas. I decided to put myself on a $200 spending limit and suprisingly I walked out of both stores only spending $170, well $250 after I bought my girl a new "Pink" Plueger reel and rod she fell in love with, she wouldn't let me buy it for her at first but I convinced her.

Excluding the reel and rod though I made my limit. I some what decided to go for some of the newest and hottest baits so I can try them out. Some hard swimbaits, frogs, plastic worms and more. Some of which I have used before and some of which I have heard I needed to. So this is what I got.

Of course starting with the most expensive the hard swimbaits. Tru-LiFE Tru-Tungsten's shiner and blue gill, Shad Color Sexy Swimmer, and Strike King's King Shad.

Spro Frogs! I just started using these bad boys and boy are they fun! They look great and catch big bass but will also catch big bills out of your wallet running at $10 each. I decided to grab Natural green which I've had success with and grab 2 new colors, Navy Seal and Leopard.

Creature baits. So supposedly these new Berkely "Crazy Legs Chigger Craws" are supposed to be REALLY good, well like all Berkley Powerbaits they do smell like ass, but I'll see how they work soon. Of course some brush hogs, these things work great!

Pumpkin and chartreuse lizards are one of my favorite lures. The versatility of these lures are unbelievable, I'll use them alot when going to a new lake because you can use them in SO many situations and bass love them where ever you go. As for the trick worm... Well I've never used them but I've always heard great stuff about them so I decided to give em' a try.

Oh and if you're looking for a hot lure right now that wont break the bank you can pick up one of these bad boys almost anywhere, grab them in this color and lime green, bass are killing them.

Oh and my girls new Plueger reel and rod. Great deal and great set up.
