I think I am gonna go crazy! Saturday was the last day of deer season in PA and I had my chance at a deer. As my luck would have it I pulled the trigger on my trusty model 94 and the bullet never found its mark. the deer just looked at me and then ran. i had my chance and i blew it. Oh well, I guess you win some and you lose some. I am happy to say my uncle got lucky and put down a HUGE nine point, I`ll post a pick.

hey guys i got a call from my cousin last night and we got into a discussion about bass poppers. i was telling him how you can never by them in just the right size for what you need. he had recently been making some small rapalla like crank baits. he suggested that i try and make a popper that would meet my standards. i went into my fly tying shop and sanded down a piece of balsa and got it into shape. i had cupped the lid with spud wrench and tied some marabou to a treble hook and put that on w…

hey guys i went fishing yesterday after school at a pond near my house. i had forgotten they had taken all the fish out of a other local pond and put them in this one due to construction. i was absolutely amazed by the sheer number of carp in there . i felt like i had no other choice than to go home and get my bow. i will put up some pics!

hey guys i really had nothing to do this long weekend so i headed out to a local stream with a friend just to do some fishing. all we had were spinning rods and worms and we were catching trout, perch, and even some small bass. that suprised me due to the depth of the water but all in all it was a good day fishing.

hey i dont know if anyone on here is a member of the north american fishing club (NAFC) but i just joined last month. when i got home from school yesterday they had sent me a package with two slip bobbers, 12 pound test spyder line, and a huge book labelled bass tactics. the club dues are like 99 cents a month so i highly recommend joining. it is well worth the 99 cents!

Hey guys i had a half day today at school so i went to a local pond to fish for a couple hours. got one nice bass on a silver minnow with a 6'' pumpkin seed threaded through it. i just got back but no fish at night. oh well at least I got one!!

Hey everyone. i put up a couple of pics today of some new steelhead flies. i'm headed up to beaverkill PA tonight to do some fly fishing. i really hope i get lucky cuase this really isn't the ideal time to fish landlocked steelhead. i will touch base with everyone once i get back. hopefully with pics of some nice northeastern steelhead.

the roundout reservoir is one of the four reservoirs that provide nyc with drinking water. to fish there you need a special permit from the DEP but it really is worth it. I was using a silver minnow spoon with a bass assasin pumpkinseed swim worm threaded thru the back end. i cuaght a nice for pounder and a couple smaller fish. i will put up a pic from my phone if i can. it really hasnt been working so well with me for some reason.
