I have been having good luck with Reaction Innovation's Skinny Dipper. You can't fish them wrong. I like to reel up and let it drop to the bottom. It goes in every direction and drives the fish crazy.

I HAVE CAUGHT MORE BASS ON SWIM BAITS THAN ANY OTHER LURE EXCEPT A RUBBER WORM!. I USE SWIM BAITS NO BIGGER THAN 4 INCHES. I PUT A JIG SPINNER ON THE FRONT FOR MORE ACTION. KEEP THE LURE DOWN IN THE WATER BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET HUNG UP AND LOSE...

- Its been horrible unfortunately lol. The whole season was ruined dur to some crappy weather in the beginning of the year. We had one really warm week in the 80s then the next week it snowed and stood cold up until the end of may and then it rained 3 weeks straight in june with the exception of one or two days and the bass fishing was horrible all year. How is everything down there in texas?

- yea i was lookin at that mattlure blue gill, thing looks beautiful, i seen a small pic of one a few days ago and thought it was real lol, i think the prices have gone down too, i think i saw them for like 20 bucks each on mattlures.com
