Yeah, I read actually read a little about it in an old bass fishing book my grandfather had. People used to do it all the time before the buzzbait came out, they even called it "buzzing" and thats pretty much what spwaned the buzzbait. I don't see a…
That's reassuring! lol. I also like to run one with a single colorado blade just below the surface (like you'd run a buzzbait on top of the water) It has a totally unique sound, it gurgles and bubbles and creates a wake like a buzzbait would.
Jignpig slowly on the bottom for smallies first then largemouth. I love smallie fishing

Spinnerbaits are what I am most comfortable using. What I throw 90% of the time. I use the famous chuck and retrieve method. I also like to use the burn method just cuz it's fun. Haven't caught anything doing it yet but like I said, it's fun to do.

For me its definately plastics- mainly the minnow type, but dingers and tubes put alot in the well too. I catch more fish w/ sluggo and flukes than anything else...But I will fish these baits from top water to drop shot and everything in between. I…

Spring 2009
Im ready for spring. Just watched the classic films and now im ready to go. Woulda rather seen Iaconelli win it i guess, but i was fun watching those guys go balls to the wall on the red river. that whole place looked like a "jungle" to me! plus i really enjoyed all the slippin and pitchin those guys were doing.
