salt water fishing

hey does anyone know the nj state record for weak fish? i went fishing in some bay with dads friend and i cuaght a thirteen and a half pound weak fish. i'm not really sure if that is good or not cuase i don't know how big they get? does anybody go saltwater fishing. it was like my fist time and i'm just getting used to it. its pretty fun.

Permalink Reply by Dustin on August 19, 2009 at 9:56pm: the record is like 18 pounds. i dont salt water fish as much as i do fresh water but when i go for some reason im more excited, probally because if i hook on to a nice fish for instense a striper or maybe even a blue, its just the adrenaline rush i have cause of the fight it puts up, like the 3 stripers i caught last year. just the fact that u might not catch a fish all day but wen u do its going to be big.; ▶ Reply to This
