If you're a Baitcaster Reel Guy/Gal then this is one of the top 3? tips to know. It works and if you don't have a second set-up with you...you may just toss in the towel for the day if you get a bad enough backlash. If anyone has a different trick, please post it. The more the merrier as far as getting rid of a Backlash.

Tony
Some people are like SLINKIES®, not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs...
One of my favorite video sites is Delaware Trophy Bass/Northeast Bass . They have a pretty good selection of how to videos. The videos I'm posting are how to's....the first one shows a different way to handle backlashes, and the second one is an EXCELLENT intro to Baitcasting. The host explains all there is to know about Baitcasting Reels...I haven't seen any other videos that can compare to it. Sometimes ya get the pros and ya get lost and have to watch the video a few times. Anyway here they are. These videos are on Delaware Trophy Bass, but I am using youtube so I can embed them here.
As Always, Good Luck,
Tony

I started a site just for beginners and intermediate level bass anglers to use that will contain more than 100 videos all organized into how to catagories to teach basics of bass fishing first, then you can come here and/or to my site to discuss trophy bass or world record bass tips and tactics and read and watch more advanced videos. Heres the link. All the videos are there yet but some are and the rest will be added in a few days. Tight lines, and good luck, Steve Northeast Trophy Bass
